FAQ
Opening and Location
When are you opening?
Solterra Wellness Club is targeting an April 2026 opening at The Galaxy at Polaris. We’ll share a firm date as construction and inspections progress. Our timeline shifted slightly as we added more space and services.
Where will Solterra be located?
Inside The Galaxy at Polaris in Columbus, Ohio. Specifically, we will be on the second floor (directly above PuttShack) facing Gemini Parkway.
Will you host events before opening?
Yes. We will host a minimum of two events each month before opening, including pop-ups, instructor spotlights, and Founders updates shared through our email list and social channels. Grand opening events, including Founders-only gatherings and public events, will be announced closer to our opening date.

Coming from another Pilates studio?
Will this feel similar or completely different?
You’ll recognize the foundations of Pilates right away. Our classes are rooted in the method, but taught with a thoughtful blend of classical structure and contemporary movement. The goal is familiarity without rigidity and challenge without overwhelm.
Do I need to “start over” if I’ve done Pilates before?
Not at all. Many clients join Solterra with prior Pilates experience. We may recommend starting with Reformer Foundations or Tower Foundations simply to learn our equipment, cueing style, and pacing. From there, you can progress quickly based on your experience and goals.
Is this more classical or more contemporary Pilates?
It’s intentionally both. Our instructors come from classical and contemporary backgrounds, and classes are designed to respect traditional Pilates principles while adapting to modern bodies, injuries, and lifestyles. Technique matters here, but so does accessibility.
Will the classes feel too easy or too intense?
Neither. Classes are designed to be layered, meaning you can adjust resistance, range, or challenge within the same class. This allows experienced clients to feel challenged while newer clients feel supported.
How are classes different from large franchise-style studios?
Classes are smaller and more personalized, with instructors able to offer clearer cueing and individual guidance. Progression is intentional rather than formulaic, and there’s room to evolve without being locked into rigid levels.
What if I’m coming from a very high-intensity or fitness-focused background?
Many clients transition to Solterra after realizing they want strength with longevity. You’ll still find athletic, challenging classes, but they’re balanced with precision, control, and recovery so your body feels better over time, not just tired.
Can instructors help me choose the right class?
Yes. Our instructors are happy to help guide you based on your experience, goals, and how your body feels. You’re never expected to figure it out on your own.
What makes people switch and stay?
Most people stay because they feel stronger, more mobile, and more supported over time. The experience is designed to be sustainable, not performative.
Recovery and Glow
What recovery amenities are included?
Memberships may include infrared sauna sessions, heated lounger sessions, and treatment discounts depending on your tier.
Do sauna and lounger sessions reset monthly?
Yes. Included sessions reset monthly.
What is the Mystic Unity booth??
What does “1 Mystic Tan and WellFit visit” mean?
This refers to one included visit per month within the tier that offers it. Exact visit options will be detailed in the membership description and booking flow.
