Healthy Aging & Aesthetic Medicine
A thoughtful plan begins before any treatment is chosen.
The Solterra aesthetic consultation is a provider-guided conversation about your goals, facial anatomy, skin, health history, previous treatments, preferences, and realistic options. It is not a commitment to receive treatment.
Purpose of the visit
Clinical evaluation without a sales script.
Aesthetic medicine should begin with informed decision-making, not a menu of procedures. Your provider will listen first, assess carefully, and explain which options are reasonable for your goals.
The consultation is intended to identify appropriate treatment, recognize contraindications, set realistic expectations, and help you understand benefits, limitations, alternatives, timing, cost, and potential risks. Solterra’s approach will remain conservative and relationship-based.
Your priorities first
Discuss what you notice, what you hope to change, what you want to preserve, and how subtle or visible you want a result to be.
Clinical and anatomical review
Your provider will assess health history, medications, allergies, prior procedures, facial movement, proportions, skin, and treatment suitability.
Clear choices and tradeoffs
Receive a candid explanation of appropriate options, expected timelines, maintenance, limitations, risks, alternatives, and cost.
What we will review
The information that shapes a responsible plan.
Not every concern is best addressed with an injectable, and not every client is an appropriate candidate. The consultation is designed to determine what is clinically reasonable before discussing a final plan.
What you want to change, and what you do not
Bring photographs or examples only if they help explain your concern. The provider will translate the goal into an anatomy-based discussion rather than promise replication of another person’s result.
Medical screening and prior treatment
Expect questions about diagnoses, medications, supplements, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, dental or surgical plans, previous injectables, adverse reactions, and relevant lifestyle factors.
Movement, structure, balance, and skin
Your provider may assess facial expression, asymmetry, skin quality, proportions, volume changes, and whether a concern is better suited to skincare, aesthetic treatment, referral, or observation.
A phased plan, when appropriate
Recommendations may include wrinkle-relaxing treatment, collagen-supporting aesthetics, coordinated skincare, a staged approach, or no treatment. You should understand why each option is or is not recommended.
The Solterra standard
No pressure to treat the same day.
Time to consider a recommendation is part of informed decision-making. You may ask questions, decline treatment, seek another opinion, or return later.
When same-day treatment is clinically appropriate and available, it should occur only after the plan, consent, cost, alternatives, and product-specific risks have been reviewed.
A consultation is not a guarantee of treatment.
The provider may postpone or decline a service when medical history, anatomy, expectations, recent procedures, infection, pregnancy status, product limitations, or another concern makes treatment inappropriate.
How to prepare
Come ready for an honest, useful conversation.
Gather relevant information
Know your medications, supplements, allergies, medical conditions, prior injectable products and dates, and any previous complications.
Ask direct questions
Discuss expected result, uncertainty, treatment alternatives, product selection, maintenance, downtime, potential complications, and total anticipated cost.
Decide without pressure
Proceed only when you understand the recommendation and feel comfortable with the benefits, limitations, risks, and financial commitment.
Frequently asked questions
What to know about consultation.
Do I have to receive treatment?
No. The consultation is an evaluation and discussion. You may decline, delay, or decide that treatment is not right for you.
Can I be treated during the same visit?
Possibly, when treatment is available, clinically appropriate, and sufficient time has been scheduled. Same-day treatment is never guaranteed.
Should I arrive without makeup?
A clean face can make assessment easier, although the provider can advise on preparation when booking. Clinical photographs may be recommended with your consent.
Can the provider guarantee my result?
No. A provider can explain reasonable expectations, but individual anatomy, biology, healing, and response make exact outcomes impossible to guarantee.
